Don't Cry For Us, Mrs. Clinton

To be sung to the tune, “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina”.

Don’t cry for us Mrs. Clinton
Your tears have truly been wasted
We saw you well up
We saw you crying
It looked contrived
And we’re not buying

Don’t cry for us Mrs. Clinton
Because the media is having a field day
We need a leader
We need a strong one
Not someone blubbering
When things have gone wrong

Do cry for you Mrs. Clinton
You haven’t made a case for women
You really screwed up
You had a break down
We have no choice
There’ll be no show down.

There’ll be no show down…

Why does everyone say Hillary cried? There were no tears. She choked up emotionally, like humans do. It looked real to me.

Funny parody - even though it should have been "Don't choke up for me, etc... "

What will she do when she's under pressure from the other fronts? Iraq? Iran?

I'm sorry, but that show of feminine softnest does not make me feel that she is in the lest presidential or statesmanlike.

Nope, she is not the right person for the job.

Next?

I look on with confusion at your elective process. Money and acting skills seem to be top of the menu. Over here we usually plump for the stupid one!

Dom~~
Real or contrived, choked up or tears. She is a woman running for the highest office. She is under a lot of scrutiny by women all over the country. I, for one, want a true leader to get us out of the mess we are in. I don't want to feel that I can not trust the perceptions given by our leader.

I know, Minx, I know. It's like watching American Idol. Makes me want to hang my head and cry. ;)

I read it, but I can never take that pseudo-patriot scoundrel Sean Hannity seriously - especially now when he agrees with Jesse Jackson and Cindy Sheehan?! I find all three loathsome, no matter their political affiliations. And for this "pot-calling-the-kettle black" trio to question Hillary's sincerity is truly laughable!

Ah, politics... with its strange bedfellows.
