R.I.P.

One quote says it all, of this genius, Kurt Vonnegut:

“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’ ”

Sadly missed. Happily re-read, again and again.

But can you imagine what was going through that mind while it was damaged and as he died? All of that imagination spilling out, up and into the universe.

Kurt Vonnegut, dead at the age of 84 of brain injuries.

"So it goes."
