One resolution at a time
left wasted by the road side
I have become a work
of demolition
prompting
not decay
but
evolution
So what.
Traditions
left to rest along
the way - bent and
curved or
disgarded -
time and energy
the masters of
my fate
pre-empting commonly
hoped goals
for convenience
sake and
my own
three hundred and sixty five days
one at a time
changing the way
I do things in
these changing times
and next year I
get to start all
over again

You especially told the truth in the last stanza.
One day, one hour, one moment at a time....no more.
Very wise, especially the sentiments, the realization, in the first stanza.
Have a blessed course of beginnings (and yes, even of continuity) this year. ^_^
I've given up on them - resolutions that is. maybe next year. Nicely thought provoking Roberta.
now I am going to get a title (g)
Your Peculiar Aristocratic Title is:
His Grace Lord Frank the Dejected of Kesslington under Ox

Hey Frankles!
How are things at the old Fuchs Lubricants? I tell you, I don't miss answering the phone and hearing the laughter at the other end.
I hope that life is treating you well. You'll always be my buddy. Give me a call sometime!
