A Poem. Winter

The best piece of English literature I've seen in quite a while....

Try to memorize this prose by next December.....

" WINTER "
a poem by
Abigail Elizabeth McIntyre

Ahem.

SHIT IT'S COLD!

I particularly enjoyed the first stanza - I think the poet has explored the vital essence of winter. The use of the word 'cold' only serves to capture the true nature of the season and cleverly lets our imagination build the fabric around this solid scaffolding.
In retrospect I feel that possibly, the omission of the second phrase may add even more power to this clever poem -
Shit!

Well here you are! I thought you were done blogging until Christmas.
Loved the passing through poem Roberta. This exact conversation
probably went on in quite a few houses - ahem - so much important stuff!
